Australian beaches are open for the public to enjoy. Among the popular beaches are the Bondy and Manly beaches in Sydney, St. Kilda in Melbourne , Surfers Paradise in Queensland, Cotteloe in Perth and Glenelg in Adelaide. Australian beaches are popular coastal sight seeing destinations because of their scenic coastal drives. Other activities include sailing, parasailing, fishing, snorkeling, and scuba diving. Aside from the activities, the beaches in Australia have also been the subject of various popular artworks like Max Dupain’s Sunbaker and Bondi.
